Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40400 Hi,
I met a TPS40400 issue in customer side.
Input: 12V, Output: 1.0V, f: 600kHz
They used TPS40400 solution for DM8167 power. System is okay when powered on. After some time running, TPS40400 1.0V output…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40400 Hello,
I am having issues on how to determine the required specifications on the input capacitor(s). Page 53 of the TPS40400 datasheet has a section regarding the selection of these capacitors but I cannot see…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40400 , CSD Hello,
I am using the TPS40400 with CSD86350 FET and the rise time on the SW is about 2ns. This is very fast and is injecting noise back on input as well as output. I would like to slow this down and…
Hi, I use DM8168 on RDK4.0.0.3. I use the command cat /sys/kernel/debug/smartreflex/current_voltage, the result oltage is 806214 . I want to know is that in the good range voltage?
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40400 Hi,
From TPS40400 datasheet, IC sense FB node and trigger output UV or OV protection.but the there is no spec about the delay /response time from FB out of limit to protection active. In some case like FB is…
Hi Soo,
It's hard to draw the conclusion. I think there are more investigation should be done.
If we suspect the sync pin, you may connected SYNC pin to ground through a 10kohm resistor like in the EVM and check whether there is still instability…
Hi Masa,
You can leave ISNS pins not used. The IOUT_OC_FAULT_RESPONSE needs to be set to continue operation without interruption.
Then basically, the device will lose the current monitoring and overcurrent protection. It is not recommended.
