Hi ，

How to enable S/PDIF function on J6 With 6AM1.3.SDK .

I try to modify the DTB as follow , but nothing out put on Mcasp5 port .

   status=“okay”；
   op-mode=<1>;  //TID 模式
   tdm-slot=<384>; // for spdif
   serial-dir=<0 0 0 1>;//
   tx-num-evt=<8>;
   rx-num-evt=<8>;

Officially, the J6 Android release doesn't support S/PDIF. As far as I know, S/PDIF hasn't been validated/tested in the McASP driver for quite some time. I'm not implying that it's (necessarily) broken, just that S/PDIF mode has not been tested recently.

Do you see any errors/warnings in the kernel while booting and also when playing audio? Have you verified that the pinmux settings are correct for the McASP pins you're using?
