MSP432P401R: Can you store the EnergyTrace given values somewhere for further use?

Hello. I have a simple question. I am using a MSP432 for collecting data from a room. The system should work low-power. For this, I need to measure the energy and the most convenient way is by using Energy Trace.

My question is: Are the values for Energy and Power stored somewhere I can have access to them for further use (like sending them through UART)? Thanks.

Thank you for your fast reply, David. This is not actually what I want. I would like to know if there are some variables where the data recieved from Energy Trace is stored, so I can send it further through UART.

Hello,

Energy Trace uses the XDS110 JTAG debugger on the MSP432 Launchpad to perform the measurements and the data collected is then feed into CCS, so the data is never stored in the MSP432.

So if I'm understanding correctly, you would like to get this data (collected by the XDS110) and then past it to the MSP432 so it can be sent through UART?? Is my understanding correct??

I am afraid that there's confustion about what EnergyTrace actually is. In short - microcontroller itself does not measure consumed energy. It is done by EnergyTrace-enabled FET tool so you can't get EnergyTrace given values without FET debugger tool and compatible software.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, this time you understood correctly. That was what I wanted to do but I think your first reply helps me even more so I am going to go with CSV file. Just from curiosity is my first question possible to implement?
