I'm using the Vision SDK(03.00.00) to build my linux kernel. But if I want to compile the dtb file with my idea, which ".dts" file should I modify? Thanks.

For TDA2x (J6/DRA7x) SoC, you need to refer - dra7-evm-infoadas.dts & dra7-evm.dts
For TDA2Ex (J6Eco/ DRA72x) refer - dra72-evm-infoadas.dts & dra72-evm.dts

You need to clone kernel from TI externel GIT.
please refer \vision_sdk\docs\Linux\VisionSDK_Linux_UserGuide.pdf

Hi,
There is none dts file named in the \ti_components\os_tools\linux\kernel\omap\arch\arm\boot\dts. And I refer \vision_sdk\docs\Linux\VisionSDK_Linux_UserGuide.pdf in the Vision SDK(03. 00.00). Is there any bug in Vision SDK(03.00.00).

Hi Lucas,

did you check-out the correct branch as described in the Users guide?
Can you try to delete the directory \ti_components\os_tools\linux\kernel\omap and try again the steps in section "2.4.2.1.1 Clone kernel"
to clone and check-out the right branch?

Hi, the dra7-evm-infoadas.dtc exists in the Vision SDK(03.02.00).I use the the new sdk.

But I still can't understand how to modify the the pins about cpsw if I want to change the RGMII to RMII mode. Please show my question to the ethernet expert.

we have not validated RMII PHY with our Standard SDK offering (EVM has only RGMII PHY) - the same driver/peripheral is used on other TI Platforms, will try and get information about the changes required and references for comparison

You can refer to other TI platforms(that carry similar IP and use RMII interface to the PHY)

Refer to the cpsw configuration settings as under arch/arm/boot/dts/am4372.dtsi

RMII mode configuration needs to be specified as in arch/arm/boot/dts/am43x-epos-evm.dts
