Hello,

I am testing SPI with MCU and SoC.

When it's testing the SPI with 12byte data size, it's well working.

But, When it's testing with 160byte data size, it's not working.

How can i change the setting of SPI data size?

If anyone want to know the particular setting parameter of SPI, i will upload.

Lee,

You can set the word count in the MCSPI_XFERLEVEL->WCNT register of McSPI.

If you have the PDK software package, you can refer the McSPI example provided at pdk\packages\ti\csl\example\mcspi\mcspiMasterSlave

Hi Lee,

Ideally you should call McSPIWordCountSet API.
MCSPI_XFERLEVEL is MCSPI Memory Mapped Register. Depending on the instance you are using you can modify it (field 31:16) at below address:
0x4809817C McSPI1
0x4809A17C McSPI2
0x480B817C McSPI3
0x480BA17C MCSPI4

Hi, Prasad

Because i use the FIFO Buffer SPI, the MCSPI can use each max 64Byte(TX,RX).
So, I understand that the 160Byte data don't use in the FIFO Buffer SPI mode.
How can i use DMA SPI mode in usecase ?
Is there the reference code ?

Hi Lee,

I checked your other therad where you posted the code snippet. (e2e.ti.com/.../679081)
The Hw cfg params looks wrong, at least the fifoRxTrigLvl should be half of the available hardware FIFO.

The example present in the PDK/bsp driver actually transmits 1024 bytes in one GIO_Submit.
I think you can use modify that example for the data length.
