Linux/TDA2PXEVM: The default dtb file is incorrect

Part Number: TDA2PXEVM

Tool/software: Linux

Hello:

  When following the VisionSDK document, we succeed to create the boot image for SDCard with configuration is tda2px_evm_linux_all.

but the dtb in uenv.txt is "fdtfile=dra7-evm-infoadas.dtb", which can't be found.

for TDA2Px, we have to change to "fdtfile=dra76-evm-infoadas.dtb".

 We think it's a bug.

  • Hello
    yes, you have to use dra76-evm-infoadas.dtb in uenv.txt
    The uenv.txt provided is a sample one for reference and depending on platform you need to change the DTB name and other boot arguments.
    Will include this in our documentation in future

    regards, Shiju
  • Hello:

      One more,vision_sdk\apps\configs\tda2px_evm_linux_all\cfg.mk, it already specify the default the DTB, please consider.

    DEFAULT_UBOOT_CONFIG := dra7xx_evm_vision_config
    DEFAULT_KERNEL_CONFIG := ti_sdk_dra7x_release_defconfig
    # For TDA2x
    DEFAULT_DTB := dra76-evm-infoadas.dtb
    CMEM_INCLUDE=yes
