Linux/TDA2P-ACD: Linux hang while coping root file system into Emmc Partition

HI,

We are working on custom board on tda2px. We have successfully boot the uboot and kernel from sd card connected on mmc1.

We have enable the eMMC flash connected on MMC2. we are not able to copying the root file system into eMMC ext4 partition.
When we have tried  to extract the root file system into root folder (mentioned into bellow link) error occurred.

    Ans: As I said, eMMC connected on mmc2 powered with 3.3v. I have read comment on e2e is "When 3.3V mode is used, eMMC do not support hs200 (192MHz) mode", hence I have commented the hs200 mode in uboot as well as kernel DTS file. Section mentioned in mmc2 node.

    Ans: I don't have any clue about this. Please guide me if I did something wrong.

    Note: In U-boot, default support provided for 1.8 v with high speed mode but in my custom board eMMC is connected on 3.3v. Initially eMMC was not detected on custom board. But after commenting the hs200 mode in uboot dts file it gets detected successfully.

    I have found issues in kernel dts file at cma section.

    I have rebuild the code and test, it is working fine now.

    I have one more query regarding rootfs partition .

    On eMMC, we have make the ext4 partition for root file system. But as per the customer requirements we have to port rootfs on ubifs partition.
    So my question is
    Can we use ubi file system on eMMC?
    or Can we part the emmc as ubifs partition?

    In the partition table, you don't mention the type.
    As long as you flash the image type you need to the partition and the component mounting the partition knows how to mount it, ubifs should work.

    I will check if anyone from our team has tried this fs type.
