Seems like the datasheet and TRM do not provide information on how to switch between JTAG and BSDL mode.
Is the below information correct as well for AM335x? Is it going to be included in the datasheet?
Also are the JTAG timings going to be included in the datasheet like for AM3517?
The 3 following steps are required to switch between BSDL and emulation:
- Assuming that the device is already in either JTAG or BSDL mode you need to use /TRST to reset the internal logic to switch to an other mode.
- TCK must be present so that INPUT emulation/BSDL signals can be sampled.
- EMU0/1 need to be pull down/up accordingly to the datasheet of the device. To use the BSDL TAP instead of the JTAG emultion TAP you need to pull down both EMU0/1 pins.
