USB OTG mode on AM335x

Hi,

I try to use USB module as OTG mode.

On below picture, v5_0D will be supplied from 5V boost of PMIC TPS65910A3. Then TPS2051BD will supply 5V VBUS for USB.

By the way, 5V VBUS should be not be supplied if AM3352 should act as a peripharal, is it right?

I wonder if PSP USB driver detects these conditions automatically and then USB driver disables DRV_VBUS.

After measuring ID pins, AM3352 decides whether it shold supply 5V VBUS. Then is it realized through DRV_VBUS of AM335x?

Hi Devin,

Yes, this is correct. The ID processor pin should be connected directly to the USB connector ID pin for this purpose.

Hi Biser,

I'd like to confirm one more time,

DRV_VBUS of USB module is disabled when AM335x decides itself as a peripheral in the OTG mode, is it correct?

Yes, it will stay low when OTG switches to Device mode.
