CDC NCM gadget driver throughput issue

Hi ,

We are using am335 based board,we are facing cdc-ncm throughput problem,the iperf gives very less throughput

We are doing following steps :

board side(musb0 is in device mode)

iperf -s

on Host(PC)

iperf -c IP

But the performance we are getting with is very low, 12-25Mbps. The requirement is of around 100Mbps.Do you have any clue for this?

Do you have DMA enabled for the USB driver?

No,i will check by enabling DMA.

Hi Biser,

I enabled DMA and performance increased little bit up to 48Mbps,but requirement is minimum 100Mbps.

cdc-ncm gadget is not supported in TI Linux SDK on AM335x. The gadget driver has not been tested and validated on AM335x. Its throughout performance has not been analyzed.
