Customer just received a new AM335x EVM. Terminal output indicates an EEPROM failure.

We've located wikis and previous E2E posts. But can't find specific programming instructions for the EVM. Please advise.

Hi Mark,

I haven't come across instructions for programming the AM335x EVM, the only available guide, I know of, is the AM335x Starter Kit ID Memory Programming.

Have you tried removing the ID check from u-boot?

Hi,

I am trying to boot the new AM3358 EVM purchased and getting this error. I tried searching the procedure for EVM but found only for Starter kit. Tried procedure for EVM but nothing coming, its working fine for AM3358 Starter kit.

The described method here also works for AM335x GP EVM. If you don't get any messages after the Jumping to StarterWare Application... sign, please use the attached https://e2e.ti.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/791/MLO
