QtCreator debug issue with breakpoints

Hello,

I'm having the same problems as described in https://e2e.ti.com/support/arm/sitara_arm/f/791/p/467506/1699296#1699296. But since the original question is answered I've copied this as a new question.

my application runs in Debug mode.

What i have observed is, setting a breakpoint before starting the debug session works. Try to set a breakpoint during execution fails

In the Debug Log i can see the message "BREAKPOINTS ARE NOT FULLY SYNCHRONIZED"

If i enter a command like "show version", the debugger seems also not to answer.

Have you done any investigation in this direction, since if this a Qt creator issue we can not help on this.

What/how do you want me to investigate? I've used QtCreator with poky builds and debugged without problems

Setting or removing a breakpoint when the application is running doesn't work on latest releases, even in poky builds. It should be something related to the graphics, since it doesn't affect Qt Console Applications. If you truly need this functionality you can use the previous TI SDK 1.03, where the setting a breakpoint on runtime still work.

Thanks for verifying this issue. Is this planned to get fixed in a new release of the SDK? If so, do you have any indication of ETA for the new SDK?

The issue is encountered and should be fixed in the new SDK, but unfortunately I have no information about the planned release date.
