Has anyone successfully enabled U-Boot splash screen display with TI Processor SDK for Linux 03.00.00.04?

If yes, what updates were required?

For example, I saw drivers/video am335x frame buffer code but the Kconfig doesn't provide the ability to enable it. I also don't believe it provides enough to satisfy all of the splash processing dependencies.

If no other option exists, I might try the linked solution that appears to require use of code from a two year old version of U-Boot in a recent version of U-Boot.

How do we create a solution that can be included in future TI Processor SDK for Linux baselines?

I've been working with this driver on SDK 02.00.02.11, a somewhat older u-boot. I'll post when I have it working. Then I plan to move to SDK 03.00.00.04.

Thanks for the update. I have access to BBBs (w/4DCAPE-70T), Olimex AM3352, and other non-commercial boards.

Let me know if you need any help testing. If useful, I can post accurate SciTools Inc Understand projects for the v03.00.00.04 (and prior v02) U-Boot.
