Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSBIOS
Here is what I know:
- used the GEL:files provied by CCS.
- GEL file will initialize the processor at the OPP_NOM level as default.
- At OPP_NOM level, DSP's highest frequency is 600MHz.
- I connected A15 first then the C66 DSP. But I used the C66x DSP only to debug some code.
- The RTSC platform I used for C66x is evmAM572x and its corresponding CPU freq is 700MHz.
- The Sysbios project I created with the RTSC platform has this property by default: BIOS.cpuFreq.lo = 700000000;
Here are my questions:
- Can the value of BIOS.cpuFreq be different from the frequency defined in RTSC platform?
- If it can, what's the effect?
- I used OPP_NOM level for processor. So do I have to create a new RTSC platform in order to change its frequency to 600Mhz？
- If I created one and changed the frequency, must I change the value of BIOS.cpuFreq.lo to 600000000?
- or I can only change the BIOS.cpuFreq.lo without creating a new RTSC platform?
