Hi TI team,

I'm testing ethercat_slave_demo on AM335x ICE 2.0.

After load ethercat_slave_demo on ICEv2, and I got the following error on CCS.

No source available for "do_AngelSWI(int, void *) [C:/ti\PRU-ICSS-EtherCAT_Slave_01.00.03.01\protocols\ethercat_slave\projects\_AM335x_arm\AM335x_release\ethercat_slave_demo_AM335x_arm.out] at 0x8002c9d0"

Lets check the tools first. Are you using

CCS 7.0.0 with GCC gcc-arm-none-eabi-4_9-2015q3

Processor SDK RTOS for AM335x 3.3.0

Sysbios 6.46.5.55

XDCTOOLS 3.32.1.22

Have you made any modifications to the example? The example uses a binary demonstration stack. to modify the example it is necessary to get the full stack from the EtherCAT Technology Group and follow the instructions in Building full feature EtherCAT Slave Application.

As a quick check have you tried downloading and running the prebuild binary for the example?

Hi David,
Sorry, I used a wrong gel file.
I should use TMDXICE3359_v2_1A.gel rather than TMDXICE3359.gel.

I used the correct gel file but i am still getting exception issue. The step by step execution tells that the exception occurs at the semaphore call in the SPI_open(). Sometimes I am seeing the exception occurring before the call Task create of Sync0 task.
