AM5708: GEL files

Hi,

We are developing a board based on AM5708, I wanted the GEL files for this processor, i cant seem to find anything on the website. Could somebody help me out here regarding the GEL files?

    GEL files should be included in the CCS setup for AM57x devices.

    Hi,

    From GEL, please use AM571X GEL files but it may need some modification based on their DDR and PMIC.

    Dhurvil,

    As Eric indicated, we don`t have a EVM target configuration inside CCS for this SOC as our EVMs are based on AM571x variants. But you can choose the SOC as AM5708 in the CCS target configuration option and in the Advanced Tab, click on the A15 core and browse to the GEL file as shown here:

    the GEL for AM571x are located in the CCS install path along the directory path :

    ccsv7\ccs_base\emulation\boards\am571x\gel

    If you are using the same crystal for input clock and same DDR configuration then you should be able to use the IDK GEL files, else you will need to modify the DPLL setup and DDR setup in those GEL files.
