Hello

I have PCM2707EVM-U and I want to develop a board with HID buttons.

I have read the datasheet for PCM270xC and my conclusion is:

1. PCM2707C does not have HID inputs for buttons.

2. Only PCM2704C or PCM2706C have HID inputs.

Am I correct?

I am not sure because in PCM2707EVM-U I have three buttons connected to HID0/MS, HID1/MC and HID2/MD. What is the purpose of these buttons with PCM2707C assembled!?

Hi Joao,

1. The PCM2707C does NOT have any HID inputs.

2. You are correct.

The MS/MC/MD are in inputs for the SPI interface. These can but used by an SPI host controller to change the USB Descriptor data at startup, as well as access a few other internal registers.

I guess the buttons on the PCM2707EVM-U board are there because it the same board used for PCM2706C?
