INA134: Audio differential +/- input to 3.5mm audio jack vs. Audio differential receiver

Part Number: INA134
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA137, , INA1651

Dear Madam/Sir,

Currently, I utilized Woofer audio out (line+, Line-) differential signal as the input of Audio-to-LED strip (LED will be ON/OFF according to woofer audio frequency).

The 1st question is that can I treat INA134/INA137/INA1651 as differential to single-end receiver (Woofer audio out to LED audio in)?

2nd question is that can you recommend a P/N (INA134/INA137/INA1651) for this application? Thank you

Cheers,

Hugo

  • Hello,

I have put together a simulation showing the INA134 being used as differential input to single ended output. The simulation can be found at the bottom of this post. The output signal is in inverted copy of the input.

Is the Audio to LED strip a high impedance input? You would want to consider how much loading will be seen on the output of the INA134.

What is the amplitude of the subwoofer output? I chose +/-15V for the supplies in my simulation. What voltage level will be used as the supplies?
