Hi,

I am planning to use MC33078 for my audio circuit. Can you please share any reference design for he same.

Also what is the input voltage requirement for this IC. Can I power it using 24V as absolute maximum is 36V

    Shifali,

    The power supply voltage range of MC33078 is from +/-5V to +-15V (or on single supply from 10V to 30V) - see below.

    The input common-mode, Vcm, voltage range is +/-13V on +/-15V supplies (2V from either rail) so if you power the IC from single 24V supply 2V<Vcm<22V.

    Having said that, MC33078 is an old part with no mocro-model available.  Please use instead modern OPA1678 with better specs and similar price to MC33078, which has macro-model availble under following link: https://www.ti.com/product/OPA1678#design-development

    OPA1678 may be powered from +/-2.25V to +/-18V dual supplies or from 4.5V to 36V single supply - see below.

    While using 24V single power supply, the input common-mode voltage range is: 0.5V<Vcm<22V
