TAS5825P: TAS5825P-Signal delay

Hi Ti Team，

The TAS5825P supports up to 4 ms of delay buffer to look ahead at the audio signal and prevent audio clipping distortion.Can I turn off this delay?

Hi Liu,

You can set CH-L/CH-R delay time to 0, so that the delay time will be 0ms.

This significantly reduced our output latency on our board. I appreciate the feedback!

Are there any other software/firmware settings that contribute to the output latency that users should know about?

Hi Robert,

There are no other software setting can change this delay. But large PVDD decoupling cap will influence the PVDD ramp up time according to BOOST limited current driving capability.

Now I use BD mode to find that the input and output have a delay of 4ms, Is this normal?

What do you mean about the 4ms delay between input and output? Do you have any wave to explain it?
