ADC6140EVM-PDK: Guidance for Quick start test (AC-MB for the USB audio TDM and TLV320ADCx140EVB for the on-board mic input)

Part Number: ADC6140EVM-PDK

Dear TI Team,

We have ADC6140EVM-PDK, AC-MB DC058 Rev A, PurePath Console v3.2.0 and Audio recorder of Windows 10. I am following "ADCx140EVM-PDK getting started.pdf" and want to test the board operation with Quick start example.

I have applied PPC3 GUI settings (page 15) and physical connections for onboard microphone input (page 4 and 11). After following this documented example process, I am not able to get an audio signal on my Audio recorder of Windows 10. Please guide me for the desired changes.

Best regards,

Siddhesh

  • Hi Siddhesh,

Have you tried loading the preset configuration for the onboard microphone? Have you verified the AC-MB is set for USB clock source and that jumpers J14, J15, and J16 are installed to connect the mic to channel 1? What program are you using to record audio and have you verified that it is setup to match the format and sample rate set by the TI USB audio driver?

You may also need to verify your windows sound settings

    Best,

    Zak
