PCM1772: Using PCM1772 under default setting

Part Number: PCM1772
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1773

Hello Expert,

We'd like to know about how to use PCM1772 under following condition.

Our customer plan to use PCM1772 by only xPD pin.
They don't need any configuration by SPI.
Then would you answer following questions?

  1. Is there any risk if we use PCM1772 as default setting without SPI communication?
  2. How do I terminate unused pin regarding SPI?

I suspect you will suggest to use PCM1773 for this use case.
However, PCM1772 already used in other their products and they want to reduce register's part number from the point of view of price, supply chain management, etc...

I'm looking forward to hearing back from you.

Best regards,
Kazuki Kuramochi
