TAS2563: Asking for TAS2563 Auto Mute Disable Function

Hi Sirs,

Would you please elaborate how to disable or how to reduce the threshold to the minimum value of auto mute function?
Which book, page and register? What is the default value of the threshold?

We need to reduce the threshold to <=90dBFS for customer.

Hello Wayne,

The Auto-mute during idle channel is defaulted to -90dB when enabled. If you want to put it to the minimum of -105dB, you can use the following:

w 98 7f 00
w 98 00 02
w 98 5c 00 00 2f 2c

Alternatively, you can disable the idle channel detection by writing 0x00 to to Book 0, page 0, register 0x3e.

It does not work with reduced threshold.
