A couple of days ago I have followed the procedure in the Chapter 2 in the user's guide and the device worked as expected when it was connected to a computer using the USB cable.
When I was trying to use the I2C/I2S communication on this device with Linux without a USB cable plugged in I encountered an issue, the fault LED was turning on whenever I was turning on the power supply for PVDD. This wasn't happening earlier when it was connected with the USB.
I was trying to resolve this issue, and later on when I tried to connect the device again to a computer with the USB cable, the device was not detected/recognised by my computer. I can see that the device is powered up since the 3.3V green LED and the USB LOCK blue LED light up. I tried to connect it at a different port and with a different cable but the problem remained.
Also, now whenever I turn the power supply for the PVDD on, the fault LED turns on, which was not the case earlier with a USB connection (it only happened while trying to use use the I2C/I2S communication). The power supply used for PVDD it was set either to 5V or 10V.
I hope that someone can help me on why the device is not detected by my computer anymore, and why the fault LED turns on whenever PVDD is connected to it
