When is it necessary to drive a clock into the MCLK pin on TAS2563? I'm referring to the GPIO pin, D6 or 22.

Hi Darren,

Most likely you don't need MCLK, the device use BCLK as the clock source. This GPIO pin is mostly used for signaling like IRQz.
If not using this pin it can be left floating.
