TAS5634EVM: found periodic noise on the OUTA-OUTB

Part Number: TAS5634EVM

I am now testing TAS5634EVM and found periodic noise on the OUTA~OUTD.

Test condition

- PVDD 50v

- Board Configuration  : BTL

- Audio input : no

- ppc 1.1.6 : Do not run

- proving : oscilloscope ch1: OUTA , ch2 OUTB, math1: ch1-ch2

- Phenomenon

I found periodic noise on the math1(OUTA-OUTB) after RESET switch from Low to Valid, its voltage is 1.7Vpp and frequency 357khz

I found the same phenomenon when I input audio input via usb and run ppc1.1.6

Is it normal phenomenon or is some technical issue?

  • Hi Minho

Since it is the switching frequency ripple, I think we needn't worry too much about it. It's value may vary from different load. Please check the THD test result and noise ratio when you play a sine wave signal, to see if there's any problem.
