TLV320AIC3007: Audible "Pop" sound at IC switch on and switch off

In the data sheet on page 33, it talks about avoiding click/pop by using soft stepping.

So, does it mean that without the register configuration, there is a high risk of  "pop" in power on / off sequence ?

Then, I saw in other forum topic that the power sequence can be the reason of the pop. Today, we have the V3SYS supplied before the V1P8 (10-100ms before). Has this power sequence an impact in the "pop " sound?

Hi,

That's a possibility, this sequence must be written if you are using the Class-D and soft stepping is also recommending to avoid the pop noise.

I'm not sure if the power sequence s referring to this device.

We perform additionnal inverstigations and there is a mistake in my request. In fact, the pop sound is not in the class D (SPOM and SPOP) output but in LEFT_LOP and RIGHT_LOP outputs.

Any idea to delete this noise at power up and power down ? Specific configuration to set ?
