LM4950: output capacitor issue

he customer uses the BTL connection method, but the customer's request adds a 100uf electrolytic capacitor to the output end. Later, some boards will have noises after testing. May I ask whether the BTL connection method can add a capacitor to the output end to filter low-frequency noise?

Gareth,

For bridge tied load, the output capacitor is not needed because there is no DC voltage across the load. I recommend to remove the 100uF cap and DC couple the load.

The customer should verify the frequency response, output level, and THD+N with the caps to ensure it meets their requirements.
