Setting up TLV320AIC3254EVM-K on Windows 7

I am having issues getting the AIC3254-CS to recognize the board. It cannot find or update the driver. I have followed the instructions on the included support document. Also I have requested the purepath studio software and still have not received it.

    Hi Justin,

    First, verify USB-MODEVM switch SW2.2 is set to OFF (right) and check default jumper settings in User's Guide.

    Next, follow the procedure to update the firmware to V2.03 in AIC3254 CS' Tools > EEPROM Writer. You would need to use DFUTEST.exe.

    In Windows 7/Vista, depending on your UAC settings, you may need to open the AIC3254 CS with administrative priviliges (i.e. right click the shortcut and open as administrator).
