As stated in the datasheet of the TLV320AIC3120IRHBT IC on our AM4376 based board, we connected a differential microphone to the MIC1LM and MIC1LP inputs. We connected the single-ended microphone from the headset to the MICRP input.
When we record and listen to a sound from any of these microphone inputs, we hear white noise in addition to our own voice.
Even when we remove the microphone from the connector and record or use different microphones, white noise is heard. So we don't think the problem is caused by the microphone.
We also tested the speaker and headphone-out outputs of the circuit by opening an external .wav file, it works as expected.
The relevant circuit is set up in our own design as in the image below.
