TLV320AIC3101: Unable to get mclk signal

HI,

we are trying to integrating the TLV320AIC3101 codec with QCS610. we are able to see clock at sclk,ws and data lines when probing but we unable to get clock at mclk pin. and also we unable to play the audio file full duration. can you please help me to resolve this issue.

Hi,

MCLK is an input to the codec, so check your system where the MCLK is from.

This is required for codec operation, are you configuring the codec as master or slave?

Make sure MCLK is OK then check the codec configuration/registers.

and

we are configuring Codec as slave, and please make me sure one thing is the codec is supported for 12mhz mclk?

because at master we configured the 12mhz.

Yes, this is mentioned in the datasheet extracted below.

MCLK is from your system and not from Codec as this is an input.
