TAS5805M: Writing a fixed parameter, but the value of register BOOK 0 PAGE 0 0x7d 0x7e is random and different from the fixed parameter

Hello,

We use a fixed parameter and write into TAS5805. We found that the value of BOOK 0 PAGE 0 0x7d 0x7e in TAS5805 is a random value when each time turns on our device. The value is also different from the fixed parameters we use.

We also found that when the value of register BOOK 0 PAGE 0 0x7d 0x7e is wrong, the frequency response of amp output is also wrong.

What does the register BOOK 0 PAGE 0 0x7d 0x7e mean?

What happens to the register BOOK 0 PAGE 0 0x7d 0x7e? How to make the register BOOK 0 PAGE 0 0x7d 0x7e stable?

The registers you mentioned are not open to our customer, they may stores some intermediate variables, change them will cause unwanted problems.

yes, the problem is we don't change these two parameters, but these two registers we read from 5805 are random values every single time.

I think currently we got unwanted problems now but we don't know these two registers are changed by who.

Do you have any ideas?

You can consider these two register have the same effect as the Checksum, if any of it's value changes, it means the I2C codes have changed.

So these two registers are supposed to be fixed at normal behavior, except for some unknown i2c code writing?

Do you have any register dump or log that could recommend to us? Currently, we face the frequency response of amp out different radomly.

These two register value are not expected to be an sign of register correct or not.

The problem you meet is frequency response changes randomly, i would recommend to log all the register changing actions from your code, and see when the frequency response or EQ settings was changed.
