TAS6422E-Q1: difference between tas6424-q1 and tas6424E-q1

Part Number: TAS6422E-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS6424, TAS6424E, , TAS6422-Q1

Hi Expert,

Our customer want to know the difference between tas6424 and tas6424E. Previously they design the schematic based on TAS6422E-q1. But now they would like to use TAS6422-Q1 instead. As you can see below two pics, there are several different places, mainly PVDD and GND. Their main concern is pin2pin compatible. To be more specific, there are two situations:

  1. TAS6422-q1 placed on TAS6422E-q1 pads. The PVDD, GND and GVDD1 pins will be "NC". Will this cause bad effect for function?
  2. TAS6422E-q1 placed on TAS6422-q1 pads. The NC pins will be connected to PVDD, GND and GVDD1. Will this cause bad effect for function?
  • TAS6422-q1

  • TAS6422E-q1

Thanks for help!

BR,
