Hi Team,
We can use PP-SALB2-EVM to connect to TAS3251 board to run PPC3 ?
Hi Kevin
The learning board you referred is LPA team's board, can't connect with our products.
We have our own learning board, Version D, with XMOS on it. Can work along to get the smart amp parameters. But it can't be applied on the website, need TI's local FAE's help.
Hi Team,
I got one pcs PPC3-EVM-MB but no TAS3251EVM, and how to use J17 I2C bus to control customer TAS3251 board? case GUI is show contact fail.
Hello Kevin,
Can you clarify why you are trying to connect the PPC3-EVM-MB to the TAS3251EVM? Are you trying to connect a customer board since you mentioned you don't have the EVM?
best regards,
Luis
Hi Team,
Reply is as follows.
Can you clarify why you are trying to connect the PPC3-EVM-MB to the TAS3251EVM? Cause TI Store Inventory is Out of stock.
Are you trying to connect a customer board since you mentioned you don't have the EVM? Yes,We want to use PPC3-EVM-MB to connect customer board TAS3251, through the I2C interface.
BTW, Register setting is from Dylan Yao gave before.

Kevin,
We are not if the mother board able to support TAS3251 or not, as we never used it for this device test. Are you able to use your SoC to write IIC? that is probably easier way.
Dylan
Hi Dylan,
Hi Kevin
Yes, it's 1.1
You can try apply for PCM1861EVM. Inside it, there's a small board can USB to connect with PPC3 and send out I2C signals.
But with possibility, you can't use TAS3251 APP directly, can only use I2C Master APP. You have to use TAS3251 APP to generate the .cfg codes first, and then use I2C master APP to write into customer's board. Only with lucky you can use this small board to control customer's boards with TAS3251 APP directly.
Only TAS3251EVM can make sure you can use TAS3251 APP directly.
Hi Team,
How long is the delay time required for each data interval of the I2C command?
Hi Kevin
I'm not fully understand your question. But our device can support up to 400KHz I2C, the time requirements are all same with the I2C communication protocol standard. You can also check the table 7.12 and 7.13 about them.
