DRV2700EVM: Large DC offset

Hi Team,

We have received this inquiry from our customer,

We have a piezo amplifier eval board DRV2700EVM. We were hoping to be able to use it to provide a large DC offset (~30 V) and a tiny (~10 mV) high frequency (~ 1 kHz) signal to a 10 uF piezo. Should this be possible, or is there a reason that the part can't handle even a very small high frequency component if there is a large DC offset?

Hi Danilo,

I assume that they want this signal to be seen at the output. If that is the case, I don't think this is possible. The DC offset at 30V can be handled, but the chip caps at around ~450 mV at the output with a 1kHz frequency. I don't think it can handle such a small signal.
