TAS2780: Setting for standalone mode and some issue.

Part Number: TAS2780

Dear support team,

Our customer wants to utilize TAS2780 and is doing some experiment about standalone mode.

Because they get nothing at output, could you please kindly help to check if there is anything wrong with setting?

- Set J28 to EXT. (Here is an external pull-up resistor, we should not worry about the power on sequence)

- Set J7 to DISABLE. //disable the power for XMOS.

- Set J22 to 3.3V, so IOVDD will be 3.3V level. I2S from AP is set to 3,3V level as well.

- Set J21 to 3.3V for VCC-IO.

- Link J17 to 1.8V for AVDD.

- Link J18 to 3.3V for IOVDD.

Here's the AP setting.

And here is a few more question about STANDALONE mode.

- Is TAS2780 able to work as standalone mode without any I2C configuration?

- If yes, what is the configurations below in standalone mode.

SAMP_RATE[2:0]
AUTO_RATE

They set I2S pattern as ration "64", should support if TAS2780 is able to work in standalone mode.

Thanks for the support!

Best Regards,

Dave
