Hi Team,

We are integrating TAS5805MPWPR Codec with imx8mm Android 11 code base. Can you share kernel driver info and I2C address for the same codec.

Another case,

We are integrating one new DAC PCM5242RHB with imx8mm. Could you please share driver and I2C info for the same.

We would like to know following things for the codec and DAC:

1. Volume control for both.

2. Device tree configuration examples.

3. Power control .

4. Kernel drivers and I2C addresses .

5. Mixet path settings

We do not have an updated driver for the latest Linux Kernel. The code we provided should we used as reference to help your engineers and developers interface with our device as we do not continuously update the example driver. Below I provided the example code that can be used as reference and the process flow document https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sloa263a/sloa263a.pdf. Refer to our datasheet for I2C addresses.

Ok, I have created separate thread for DAC.

The Driver Zip that you have shared which is not latest one.

Could you please share updated Driver file with proper header file for TAS5805.

apart from that please share examples of DTSi changes for the codec.

There is no updated driver, this is the only thing we provide as guidance for using the TAS5805, any additional changes need to be done on your side.
