Hi,
We have some prototype boards we're testing. We're running autonomous mode and using as a PM supplied with the development kit. The slave is on our proto board. We can plug our slave into the demo board via an adapter we made (the headers had to be repositioned to fit our motherboard). In autonomous mode our slave board will link with the demo kit master and audio works fine. If we cycle power, they relink OK automatically.
The problem is when we connect our slave board to our motherboard. We still have the master running in the demo kit mother board. Now the master and slave won't link at all when they should automatically. Both flash the alone LED even if they're just inches apart. If I drop the slave back in the demo kit motherboard they work fine again!
The only difference in the header connections between the develpment kit board and our motherboard is that we don't have connections on our mother board for xpaen and npaen. We're not currently using the range extender IC and these are outputs anyway (I think).
Why will they link OK if the slave is in the demo kit motherboard but not in our mother board?
Thanks!
