TAS2552: Short to Vbat on amplifier output: After how much time will it damage the amplifier ?

I don't think we can guarantee any specific time for the device to withstand a short to a voltage higher than Abx Max Rating limits.

Isn't there any way to give it an approximation ? 

Also, would the filter wired to the CDA output help ?  (if yes, for how long, regarding the evm filter typical value ?)

Adding the filter would most likely help.
Any approximation, if we could get one, would not be a guarantee. Would that be OK?

Regarding the filters on the evm output for thee two devices, and regarding the two devices, how long do u think these amplifiers could withstand a 24V short to Vbat ? (even if no guarantee, so I have an idea of the range)

Hi Paul-Ambroise,

Unfortunately the unit I tested was damaged just immediately after trying to short 24V. You'll need to add external protection that prevent such event.
The device is not even responding to I2C interface.

Thanks for sharing this. Indeed, the main purpose of my question was in order to design an external protection. 

But it would have been a big plus if we had an idea of the time taken to damage the CDA, to know if the response time of our system is low enough or not
