TLV320ADC5140: AVDD power supply accept DC/DC output?

Hi team,

Customer plan to use TLV320ADC5140 in their project, they get one question about the AVDD power supply. They see EVM use a LDO to provide power to AVDD, and datasheet doesn't get detailed spec requirement of AVDD, so they want to know, based on your experience, does it OK to use a 3.3V DC/DC power supply to provide power to AVDD? Hope you could share some comments to this, thanks!

Hi Will,

Yes you can use a 3.3V source just fine. The EVM uses an LDO to step down the 5V from USB to 3.3V to make testing and evaluation easier. As long as you're within 3V to 3.6V it should work fine.
