Is there an upper limit to the value of the charge pump flying capacitor and the power supply bypass capacitors (recommend value of 1 uF) and is there any advantage to increase them?

Hi Gerry,
Large cap for supply bypass would benefit on filtering low frequency noise from the source, however if PSRR performance is good enough the large cap may not be required.
As described in the data sheet, you may consider large than 10uF if the application requires it, otherwise 10uF or lower should be OK.

Gerry,
10uF cap for charge pump is OK, this cap should be the same as CPVss decoupling cap.
