TPA2011D1: Output power computation

Genius 14959 points
Part Number: TPA2011D1

Hi Experts,

Good day.

We would like to know how to compute the output power of TPA2011D1YFFR if load impedance is 32ohm.

We found THIS related thread but Cx already using the TPA2011D1.

Thanks for your attention.

Regards,
Archie A.

  • Hi Archie,

Similar equation can be used to calculate the output power of TPA2011D1, although there are still values that are nota available from documentation.

However you may use the TINA model available on the product folder, the reference design provides a full circuit around the amplifier so you can adjust the value of the load and add a power meter.

  • Hello Ivan,

    Thanks for your prompt response.

I'm still learning with the TINA tool (same with the Cx). For now, can you help us show the simulation with the power meter. That includes the ammeter in series and voltage across the load, as customer is asking also the output current.

    Thank you for your guidance.

    Regards,
    Archie A.

  • Archie,

You can refer to the attached simulation file.
