Hi Sir,

As title, I would ike to know if TPA3130D2 support 2x15W (stereo)@4ohm, 12V? In this condition, the current would be up to 4A (IC OCP is 4.5A ) any themal concern?

Hi Jacky

The OC current threshold is one channel threshold.

So the device can support 2*15W.

The device thermal pad is pad up, so the thermal is related to your heat-sink selection.

The thermal PAD of TPA3130D2 is in the bottom of the package, so we should consider how to dissipate the heat to PCB.
