Happy friday! I am in the process of selecting an inductor for my output LC filter in class D audio application. My question is does the inductor ever see negative current values when configured in BTL? I wanted to ask as this could result in addition Current ripple to consider in the design. I'm not sure if the current can go negative since there is no diode causing a DCM mode like in a DC/DC converter. Hoping that you may be able to provide some input depending on what current the amplifier sources/sinks.
