PCM9211: DIT from SPDIF to I2S, at the same time, Analog-in to SPDIF

Part Number: PCM9211

Hi team,

Regarding the ADC of the PCM9211. On a board equipped with the PCM9211, when converting A to D as I2S to an IO such as MPIO_B or the MainOUT port, the CLK generated by the DIR processing of SPDIF input to RXIN0 etc. can be used as ADCLK. It seems that ADCLK can be used as ADCLK and AD output is possible. However, to DIT this AD result at the same time and output SPDIF, is it necessary to input CLK separately? Is it necessary to input CLK separately?

What customer want to do is to DIT the SPDIF signal input to RXIN0 and output I2S from MainOUTPUT. At the same time, they would like to AD the analog signal input to VINL/VINR, DIT the result, and output SPDIF from MPO_0.

In this case, if customer input I2S SCK to MPIO_C separately, ADCCLK can process ADC output as DIT output by setting Function of MPIO_C to ADC_stand-aloneOperation and I/Fmode to MasterMode in the ADC settings. However, is it possible to output DIT other than this usage? If possible, customer would like to achieve what they want to do without inputting I2S_SCK to MPIO_C. Is there any way to achieve this?

Best regards,

Hayashi
