TAS2563: Disable all DSP via registry write?

Hello,

Am I able to to disable all DSP processes (EQ, Compression, Thermal Protection, etc) via a registry write to the TAS2563 amp while integrated in our product?

I am able to complete the SW_RESET (page=0x00 address=0x01), but it's my understanding this returns everything to default, and doesn't necessarily disable items such as DSP protection features.

I guess another way to phrase my question... am I able to access a ROM mode equivalent via registry write?

Hi Michael,

By toggling SW_RESET on the device would be operating without DSP processing features, all coefficients are back to "bypass" state.

Ok, that's interesting. I wasn't able to get that to work for me. It appeared the protection circuitry was still active even after SW reset and the performance was not the same as ROM mode.

Anyway, I was able to get my coworker to build new firmware files that I was able to push to the device as needed so I am all set.
