PCM3168A: TMD mode has no output

Hello，

One customer used PCM3168A and met questions, he combined  LRCKAD and LRCKDA to connect LRCK  of host, combined BCKAD and  BCKDA to connect BCK=12.288Mhz of Host. SPI mode, sample rate LRCK:48K  MCLK: 12.88M, BCK：12.288M. Reading 0x51 of PCM3168A is 0x7, but DOUT1 has no data output. If PCM3168A worked I2S+2DIN+2DOUT, DOUT has output and work normally, so could you please help to analyze why DOUT has no output with TDM mode?

    Hi,

    Can you confirm which format is working and which is not from the figure below?

    Can you check if the format is following the timing above and is the register log above for the I2S?

    Maybe you can send the i2cdump of the registers for the working and not working format?
