Dear people,
I am new to the TI E2E Community but have been using converters and TI components for decades.
We are starting a new project which we hope to center around the TLV320ADC3101 and we purchased the evaluation kit which is the USB-MODEVM INTERFACE usb-connected board attached to the "TLV320ADC3101EVM" daughter board.
The eval kit for that ADC came with the ADC3101-CS software and this combination of hardware and software functions OK (but it is buggy and hard to use and not very capable). We have seen many references to PurePath and so, after getting permission from the powers that be, we downloaded and installed the PurePath GDE in the hopes that it would ease our pain.
Unfortunately, we cannot get PurePath to see the evaluation board via the USB interface. Thus we cannot download any of our generated code. The build succeeds, but PurePath says
Hardware device not connected.
Obviously PurePath cannot see the hardware, although the device manager (Windows XP) shows the USB-MODEVM device and the ADC3101-CS program runs properly. Perhaps we have not set up the USB-MODEVM INTERFACE properly. Perhaps PurePath has to be set up in a manner which is not clear from the documentation and we just don't know how to do it. Perhaps PurePath does not support this hardware. Any thoughts or advice. THANKS.
