Part Number: TAS5828M
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5825MEVM,

Hello:

Can TAS5828M be controlled with the TAS5825MEVM control board? In addition, why is there no Stereo2.1 application in TAS5828M for PPC3? Is TAS5828M not supported?

  • Hi Huiquan

We can discuss in your another Thread raised. I will close this one.

  • Hello, Expert:

Now we are using 2PCS chip architecture, one for stereo (2.0) sound and the other for Mono(1.0), but how to adjust it in PPC3? Do you tune Stereo(2.0) and Mono(1.0) separately and dump their respective .H file?

    Thanks!

  • Hi Huiquan

Do you tune Stereo(2.0) and Mono(1.0) separately and dump their respective .H file?

This is indeed one of the option. Maybe a little inconvenience, but can fully use two devices' DSP.

Another way you can try is to use Mono 1.1, change the Output Corssbar as below picture. In this way, one of your device will still drive two Tweeter, and the Woofer data will output through I2S Out, similar with 2.1 mode.

Or you can change the device address on your board, to use PPC3 control them separately. Since the PPC3 will use C0 as device address, you can set one of your device as C0 and config it first, then change another device address to C0 and config it.
