Time ago we launch a question in E2E Forum and we got a response that did not answer all our doubts. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry with other things and we finally forgot about this topic, but now it is time to start working on this again.
Our question is basically related with TLV320AIC3106 and the possibility of using it to run two PDM digital microphones in a stereo configuration:
- In the datasheet there is a “Digital Microphone” section, but there is no specific mention to PDM (as an example, in PCM186x datasheet it is specified it supports PDM digital mic input). So, can you double check this and confirm it is supported?
- Can you please also confirm if it is possible to physically connect an analog microphone and two digital microphones to the same TLV320AIC3106 and choose by SW to simultaneously stream to host processor:
- Left channel analog mic only
- Stereo digital mic only
- Left channel analog mic + right channel digital mic
